Drum solo transcription of the phenomenal bebop jazz drummer Papa Jo Jones. This drum solo flew through instagram few weeks ago and I decided to make a transcription of his playing. Writing down the sheet music wasn’t much fun considering the variety of orchestration Papa Jo Jones used. It took me more than 4 hours of listening, analysing and writing.
